Muhu Island, Estonia
Wild meadows, ancient coastlines, and the endless Baltic sky — Kadakamarja sits at the edge of it all.
The Island
Muhu is Estonia's third-largest island, yet it feels like a world apart. Juniper-studded alvar grasslands give way to wildflower meadows, limestone shores, and sunsets that last for hours. The air carries salt and pine. The silence is complete. Here, nature is not a backdrop — it is the experience.

Activities
At Kadakamarja, every activity is an invitation — never an obligation. Move at the pace that feels right, or simply be still.

Our iglu sauna sits at the edge of the meadow with a panoramic window framing the sea — the iconic design made famous worldwide, with even David Beckham having one at home. Seating up to 10 people, it is built for sharing the ritual together. Heat, breathe, cool down in the fresh air, repeat. The Estonian sauna ritual is not about speed — it is about letting go. Available year-round, with birch whisks in summer and snow rolls in winter.

A sand court nestled between the glamping tents and wildflower meadows. Casual rallies at golden hour, barefoot in the warm sand. Equipment provided — just bring your sense of play.

Sink into the outdoor hot tub as the sky turns from amber to indigo. On clear nights, the stars over Muhu are extraordinary — no light pollution, just the Milky Way and the sound of the sea.

Long tables set among the wildflowers, candlelight flickering in the Baltic breeze. Our outdoor kitchen serves locally sourced meals — fresh fish, island herbs, greenhouse grapes — eaten slowly, together, under the open sky.

Our glass greenhouse is a world within a world. Grapevines climb the ceiling, stone floors stay cool underfoot, and the light filters through in shifting patterns. A perfect space for morning coffee, afternoon reading, or an intimate dinner among the vines.

Children find their own rhythm at Kadakamarja — jumping on the trampoline, exploring the meadows, chasing the cat, picking berries from the garden. The island is their playground, and the days stretch long and unhurried.
